TANTOO CARDINAL (Reenie)

Tantoo Cardinal brings a wealth of talent and experience to her role. Her credits and awards in feature films, television, and the theater are extensive. Tantoo has appeared in leading roles in four feature films including Where the Rivers Flow North (for which she received the "First Rudy Martin Award for Outstanding Achievement" and the "Best Actress Award in the 1993 American Indian Film Festival"), Loyalities (for which she received four separate Best Actress Awards), and the highly acclaimed The Education of Little Tree recently released by Paramount. She also has appeared in supporting roles in Dances with Wolves, Legends of the Fall, and the 1998 Sundance "Film makers' Trophy Winner" Smoke Signals. More recently, she studied directing, performed in the Moscow Youth Theater, and toured with a Russian national theatrical company. Natalia's performances and singing in several Russian films and CD's have resulted in substantial press recognition throughout Russia, while her beauty and vulnerability on screen has lead the Moscow press to refer to Natalia as the "Russian Julia Roberts." In Postmark, Natalia speaks and sings in both Russian and English in her role as the mail order Russian bride.

VINCENT ANGELINI (Jake)

Vincent's acting roots are in improvisational theater starting as a cast member of the "Detroit Times Theater Company" directed by Jonathon Round.
